Backgrounds

Shorthand Background

This section a background that is
an image imported to be used
as the background using a shorthand
method. The background has a fill
color so that it matches the rest
of the page.

Color Background

This section is a background that
is a hexidecimal color code.
Hexidecimals are a base-16
number system that symplifies
the RGB values of colors into
a number system that can be easily
split up into each number value.

Image Background

This section is a background that
is an image that is formatted
to be responsive in the page.
The image I used is of Super
Mario Bros. 1-1 and the image
itelf has been programmed so
that it is repsonsive in the
page.

Repeat X

This section has a background that
is one image that is continuously
repeated in the x-plane to make one
image into a larger image. For this
section, I used a horizontal line
and repeated it in the x-direction
several times.

Repeat Y

This section has a background that
is repeated in the y direction
several times. The background
is a repeat of the same image
over and over again in the y
direction. The image I used
for this repetition is a
vertical line.

Position Center

This section has a background that
is positioned in the center of
the page. The idea behind positioning
the background in the center of
the page makes the page symmetrical
and more pleasing to the eye.
There are other background
positions besides center.

Attachment

This page has a background that
doesn't move with the text.
When the page is scrolled
through, the text will move
with the scrolling but the
background will remain stationary.
This section has similar style
code to the position center
section.

Multiple

This page has a background that
is a few different images put
in different spots. The images
for this page are the same, but
different images can be used.
The pixel loecation of each
image needs to be specified
in the stylesheet.
